1. Payment Methods
Choose how the Mechanic pays you for each order:
Offline (Default): Payment is settled directly between you and the Mechanic outside the platform. Connection Credits are consumed based on remote connection time.
Online: You set the order amount in eLinehub. The Mechanic can view and complete payment at any time — payment is independent of the remote connection and does not block the session from starting or ending.
→ eLinehub uses Stripe as its payment processor to securely handle online order payments. To receive online payments, you must connect a Stripe account and add at least one payout method under Earnings → Online Payment Methods.
→ eLinehub charges a Platform Service Fee (percentage varies by region; see Earnings → Online Payment Methods for your applicable rate)
→ Stripe transaction fees also apply and are borne by you
→ Connection Credits are consumed based on remote connection time, independent of order payment
(Before switching to Online, add a payout method under Earnings → Online Payment Methods.)
2. Refund Rules (Online Payment)
Before the order is marked Completed: The payment has not yet been settled. No fees are charged to either party upon refund.
After the order is marked Completed: Stripe may charge a processing fee for the refund. This fee is borne by you.
(In all cases, eLinehub refunds its full Platform Service Fee. Offline payment refunds must be handled directly between you and the Mechanic.)
